Nothing!
The castle has been fully booked by the couple for February 12th - 16th. All you need to worry about is getting there, and we'll take care of the rest of lodging.
Besides the wedding dinner itself, breakfast will be provided to all guests daily. We will make a concerted effort to accommodate all food allergies and restrictions. All food provided by the couple will be plant-based.
Guests will be responsible for all other meals, as well as any optional activities or excursions they choose to participate in.
Inverness airport is the closest—about 30 minutes away—and it has daily flights from all London airports as well as several other international destinations.
Edinburgh Airport is the next closest airport. It is 3 hours away by car and 5 hours away by train, if you are planning to start your trip there.
For the wedding: Winter Cocktail Attire.
For the rest of the time: whatever keeps you warm and is comfy! There is no dress requirements except for the wedding itself.
We want this celebration to be a time for our guests to unwind, connect, and fully embrace the magic of the castle experience. With a four-night stay filled with immersive activities, leisurely dinners, and late-night storytelling, we believe parents, in particular, will enjoy this special occasion most if they can relax without the usual responsibilities of childcare. Our hope is that this time at the castle feels like a rare and wonderful escape—one where you can fully celebrate, reconnect, and make unforgettable memories.
That said, we understand that leaving little ones behind isn’t always possible, whether due to logistics or personal preference. Children are welcome to stay at the castle, and we’re happy to accommodate families who choose to bring them.
For the ceremony and reception, children aged 6 and up are welcome to attend. We kindly ask that younger children sit these events out, but we’re happy to help arrange on-site childcare during these key moments to ensure parents can enjoy the festivities with peace of mind.
If you have any questions, concerns, or specific requests regarding your situation, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you do choose to bring a child who was not listed on your invitation, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate with the castle staff to accommodate them appropriately.
We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity, but we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing or sending us any gifts. Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you feel moved to give in some way, we would be honored if you considered making a donation to one of the following charities:
1. Planned Parenthood
2. Food Yoga International (Previously Food for Life Global)
3. Seattle Humane
4. Renton Civic Theatre
